Free Book as a Pheromone?
Technically speaking, pheromones are a chemical compound, produced and secreted by an animal, which influences the behavior of members of the opposite sex of the same species.
People need a little help in this area, or so they think, and those that do support a billion dollar fragrance industry. Department store shelves are full of jars filled with scented liquids, each designed to be worn by someone hoping to enhance what their natural pheromones fail to do.
And on these same aisles is an endless display of products designed to mask the untoward odor that does naturally emanate from people, some more so than others.
But what’s it called when an odor stirs both sexes equally? For example, the heavy air that billows from a McDonald’s exhaust fan that causes one to super-size their order and drool until the over-flowing carton of fries is handed through the drive-through window. There’s got to be a word for this.
Fish are attracted to lures. People are allured. Fans blowing frying grease have been around since Barnum and Bailey, but I’ll be a monkey’s uncle if I can come up with a good word for the deceptive act.
And so it goes with my free book offer. I’m hoping to allure people into downloading the free copy. Doing so will no doubt cause them to want to recommend “The Bridge” to others who might in turn actually pay for a copy of the first in the Colby Series.
The end game here is helping veterans and enjoying oneself in the process.
If you’ve read this far consider yourself captured. Now, go to www.stancrader.com and download a copy of “The Bridge.” Please!
And if you’ve already done so, thanks.
